These are the rules for using GrowLove. They're written to be readable, not to wear you down. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.

1. What GrowLove is

GrowLove is a relationship-reflection app for one person or a couple. It asks you short questions, records your answers, and generates personalised daily prompts and suggestions. It uses third-party AI models to help generate those suggestions. How that works, what we store, and how to delete your account are covered in the Privacy Policy.

2. Who can use it

You must be 16 or older to create an account. GrowLove is intended for adults in adult relationships. If you're using GrowLove with a partner, both of you need your own accounts.

One account is for one person. Don't share account credentials. If you think someone has accessed your account, email hello@growlove.app.

3. Your account

Your account is identified by the email address you sign in with. You can update your display name, birth year, and city from the app. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account, or by emailing us. When you delete the account, we apply the deletion described in the Privacy Policy.

4. What you can do, and what you can't

We trust you to use GrowLove the way it's meant to be used. To keep it safe for everyone, you agree not to:

• Use GrowLove to harass, threaten, demean, or abuse another person — including your own partner. The app is not a tool for coercion or surveillance.
• Upload or write content that's illegal, sexually explicit involving minors, or that violates someone else's rights (defamation, privacy, IP, etc.).
• Scrape, crawl, or extract data from GrowLove other than your own account data (which you can request anytime).
• Use GrowLove's output — suggestions, prompts, AI responses — to train a competing model, build a clone, or operate a service that resells GrowLove's responses.
• Reverse engineer the app, attempt to access another user's data, or probe the backend for vulnerabilities outside of a coordinated responsible-disclosure process. To report a vulnerability, email hello@growlove.app.
• Use the app to provide mental-health diagnoses, treatment, or professional counselling to others.

If you break these rules — especially the harassment, abuse, or illegality ones — we may suspend or terminate your account without notice.

5. Paid subscriptions

GrowLove offers a free tier so you can try the app. We also offer a paid subscription. The current price and terms are:

• Price: $19.99 per month (USD). The exact amount in your local currency is shown at the point of purchase before you confirm. If we add other plans (such as an annual option), their prices will be shown there too.
• Auto-renewal: If you start a subscription, it will automatically renew at the end of each billing period using the same payment method, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the next renewal. You can cancel anytime from your platform's subscription settings (App Store for iOS, Google Play for Android, or your GrowLove account settings on web).
• Refunds: Paid subscriptions follow the refund policy of the platform you bought them on. We don't process refunds directly for App Store or Google Play purchases — you'll need to request those through Apple or Google.
• Trials: If we offer a free trial, the trial converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before then.

Trial length and the refund window, where they apply, are shown at the point of purchase before any charge is taken from your account. We won't change the price of an active subscription without giving you advance notice and the chance to cancel.

6. AI suggestions, what they are and aren't

The personalised prompts and suggestions you see in the app are generated by a large language model. They're meant to be small, practical, low-stakes ideas — not professional advice. They are not:

• Medical, psychological, psychiatric, or therapeutic advice.
• Legal advice, financial advice, or relationship counselling.
• A diagnosis or treatment plan of any kind.

AI models can get things wrong, be off-tone, or surface a suggestion that doesn't fit your situation. Use your judgment. If a suggestion ever feels harmful, unsafe, or wrong, dismiss it and tell us at hello@growlove.app — that feedback helps us tune the prompts.

7. Content you write

You own the words you write in GrowLove. By using the app, you give us a limited licence to store, process, and display your content as needed to run GrowLove — for example, to show your last check-in back to you, to share it with your linked partner, and to send the relevant pieces to the AI provider so it can generate your next suggestion. We don't claim ownership of your content. We don't sell it or use it to train our own model.

8. Our content and brand

The GrowLove brand, name, logo, designs, code, copy, prompts, and the AI suggestion text we generate for you are ours. You can take screenshots of your own suggestions for personal use. You can't republish or repurpose GrowLove content as if it were your own.

9. Things that might break

GrowLove is early-stage software. Sometimes a feature will break. We try hard to keep your data safe and the app running, but we don't promise the app will always be available, error-free, or fit any particular purpose. You use it as-is.

To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from using or being unable to use GrowLove. Our total liability, if any, won't exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD $50 if you haven't paid us anything.

10. Stopping the service

You can stop using GrowLove at any time, with or without a reason, by deleting your account. We can suspend or end your account if you violate these terms or if we have to wind down the service. If we end the service entirely, we'll give active users notice and a way to export their data first.

11. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we'll update the effective date and email active users before the change takes effect. Continuing to use GrowLove after the change means you accept the new terms; if you don't, you can delete your account.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. If we have a dispute, the first step is always: email us at hello@growlove.app and try to resolve it informally. If that doesn't work, the dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you and we both agree to that venue. Nothing in these terms takes away mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your home country.
